August Happy Hour at Jane

Southlake Women's Club cordially invites you to join us for Beverages & Bites ~ En Blanc ~ at the newly opened, locally owned Jane. Coffee, Wine, Cocktails and Bites. They will be featuring unique appetizers as a special treat for SWC.  Cocktails will be available for purchase. It's last call before fall to dazzle in your favorite summer white outfit!  Break out your white hot wardrobe & come join the fun.  It's going to be brilliant! We look forward to seeing you there! The deadline for signups has passed.  Please plan to join us next month! Ladies, it’s luncheon time! We will be starting our year off September 9th at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Southlake at 11:00 am, so register today. October Luncheon

This month we are headed south of the border.  Put on your most festive attire and join us for a spectacular almuerzo and fiesta.  Don't forget your passports! We will enjoy chipotle honey chili chicken over roasted batata and calabaza or vegetarian enchiladas followed by delicious tres leches cake topped with berries. November Luncheon – Timarron Country Club

Register today to reserve your seat! We hope you will join us on the next stop of our world tour, Canada! Our guest speaker will be Sue Oliver.  Sue will be sharing about her past experiences as Senior Vice President, People at Walmart Stores US, Chief Human Resources Officer of American Airlines as well as her career as a certified health & life coach, certified executive coach, and trained mediator. For our Community Outreach, we are collecting toys for children ages 5-12 for CASA. Floral arrangements from Out of the Garden will be available for purchase on the day of the luncheon. 2021 Holiday Luncheon

NOTE - The deadline for registration for the luncheon has passed. It’s time for our wonderful winter celebration! Continuing our SWC travels, we will be “visiting” Germany at this month’s luncheon. We will be meeting on Thursday, December 9th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the beautiful new Westin Southlake (with complimentary valet parking). During our journey, we will be hearing from famed Fort Worth celebrity chef Jenna Kinard. Jenna is the 2019 winner of Top Chef & the Executive Chef for the Westin Southlake! For this month’s Community Outreach, we are collecting gift cards for 4 different beneficiaries: The WARM Place, Amy’s Wish With Wings, BridgesWork, & Safe Haven of Tarrant County. We are asking for gift cards specifically for McDonald's & Walmart in denominations no larger than $20., although gift cards from anywhere are welcomed!! Please join us for our check presentation ceremony to our Carroll ISD Principals during the January luncheon at Timarron Country Club on Thursday, January 13th from 11am-1pm. Lunch will be Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti and Italian-style salad and vegetables. If you select a vegetarian or gluten-free option, lunch will be a gluten-free vegetarian lasagna. The special guest speaker will be none other than our own CISD Superintendent, Dr. Lane Ledbetter. We will be "traveling to Italy" this month so remember your SWC passports.

February Luncheon 2022

We hope you will join us for our February luncheon as we “visit” Paris! We will enjoy a delicious lunch and have fun with friends. Remember we are collecting bingo prizes for our senior Valentine luncheon. Please see the latest SWC newsletter under Community Outreach for more information. Our wonderful Parisian lunch will be chicken crepes and the gluten-free/vegetarian option will be ratatouille. Our February guest speaker will be Dr. Magdalena Battles with a message of LOVE and kindness as a legacy to set and resonate. Registration ends on February 3rd at 5:00 pm. So please sign up now! We are not able to accommodate any last-minute requests or walk-ins due to Timarron's supply chain restrictions.

Senior Valentine Luncheon 2022

We are SO excited....It’s BACK! On February 14th, SWC Community Outreach will host 120 local seniors at the Marq for an afternoon of food and FUN at our Annual Senior Valentines Luncheon. This is an amazing event and all of our senior citizens enjoy it so much! But we can’t do it without you! There are several ways you can help! (1) Sign up!! The sign up is for not only volunteers for the event, but it also includes opportunities to volunteer to bring paper goods. (2) Bring a bingo prize to our January and February SWC Luncheons. Please bring items such as soaps, lotions, wallets, candy, stamps, fuzzy socks, small gift cards, etc. - for both male & female seniors (NO CANDLES please).
