Senior Valentine’s Day Drive-Through

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  Due to COVID 19 Southlake Women's Club will not be able to host our popular annual Valentine's Day Luncheon for them but we will still be able to celebrate the day with them by providing pre-packaged lunches and other goodies! Come join us in your Valentine's Day attire and be ready to cheer on our Seniors and wish them a Happy Valentine's Day. We will be helping the Senior Center by being there to support and cheer on the Seniors and handing out pre-packaged lunches and other goodies. Bring signs, balloons and any extra decor to help make things festive! Gloves will be provided, and volunteers are required to bring and wear masks even though this is an outside event. March Luncheon – Delta Marriott

Southlake Women’s Club is extremely excited to welcome back our long-time friend, Donna Smith & her team from Out of the Garden!  You don’t want to miss this amazing opportunity to learn from Southlake’s best-kept secret!  As many of our members already know, Donna has many years of experience in providing one-of-a-kind arrangements for all kinds of events including weddings, galas, inaugurations, and most recently, The Granddaddy of Them All ~ The Rose Bowl!  Come hear all about her behind-the-scenes experiences at this historical event!  Donna will be providing hands-on expert floral arrangement instruction and each attendee will leave with a stunning floral arrangement to take home! April 2021 Luncheon – Moxie’s Southlake

We are very excited to announce plans for our April "Mad Hatter" luncheon! Moxie's is hosting us in their private room.  The menu will include a starter salad, an entree of choice (2 burger options, 2 salad options and a vegetarian option as well) and a signature drink created just for us! Dust off your crafting skills and let's see who can come up with the most creative hats!  Prizes will be awarded in several categories, so don't miss the fun. April Social – Vino Coterie

Please join us for an Evening Under the Tuscan Stars! The experts at Vino Coterie will take us through a beautiful wine tasting.  We will be treated to a delightful charcuterie and best of all, we'll enjoy camaraderie with friends. This event is hosted at the showroom of OIG (Office Integration Group) in Grapevine. There will be a raffle and one lucky attendee will leave with a very nice bottle of wine! Please RSVP by 4/12 so we have the proper amount of wine on hand for the tasting. We hope to see you there!

May Social – Charcuterie boards

Have you ever been envious of those gorgeous charcuterie boards you see on social media and at fancy parties?  If so, you are in luck because we are going to learn the art of making our very own boards! Jordan Schilling of Jojo's Board (find her on Facebook) will be sharing her best tips and technics for putting together awesome boards.  Best of all, you will leave with your very own board, made to amaze your family and friends!  Jordan will provide everything we need. Please join us for our last social of the 2020-2021 year.  Snacks and wine will be provided, so grab your friends and join us for some fun!

May 2021 Luncheon – Hilton Southlake Town Square

Please join us as we celebrate the 35th year anniversary of the Southlake Women's Club!  Come and enjoy a wonderful meal and learn a little about the history of SWC.  We've come a long way, baby! We are very fortunate to have Mayor Laura Hill as our special guest speaker.  In honor of Mayor Hill, please wear your fanciest or craziest shoes! This year, our May meeting will follow the tradition of offering fabulous raffle prizes.  You may purchase 1, 3, 7, 20 or more raffle tickets along with your luncheon ticket, with ALL proceeds from the raffle going to fund our Community Service efforts.  Raffle tickets may also be purchased at check-in. We hope you will join us for our last luncheon for the 2020-2021 year.  We've saved the best for last, so don't miss out!

August Happy Hour at Jane

Southlake Women's Club cordially invites you to join us for Beverages & Bites ~ En Blanc ~ at the newly opened, locally owned Jane. Coffee, Wine, Cocktails and Bites. They will be featuring unique appetizers as a special treat for SWC.  Cocktails will be available for purchase. It's last call before fall to dazzle in your favorite summer white outfit!  Break out your white hot wardrobe & come join the fun.  It's going to be brilliant! We look forward to seeing you there! October Luncheon

This month we are headed south of the border.  Put on your most festive attire and join us for a spectacular almuerzo and fiesta.  Don't forget your passports! We will enjoy chipotle honey chili chicken over roasted batata and calabaza or vegetarian enchiladas followed by delicious tres leches cake topped with berries. November Luncheon – Timarron Country Club

Register today to reserve your seat! We hope you will join us on the next stop of our world tour, Canada! Our guest speaker will be Sue Oliver.  Sue will be sharing about her past experiences as Senior Vice President, People at Walmart Stores US, Chief Human Resources Officer of American Airlines as well as her career as a certified health & life coach, certified executive coach, and trained mediator. For our Community Outreach, we are collecting toys for children ages 5-12 for CASA. Floral arrangements from Out of the Garden will be available for purchase on the day of the luncheon.
