Please join us for our check presentation ceremony to our Carroll ISD Principals during the January luncheon at Timarron Country Club on Thursday, January 13th from 11am-1pm. Lunch will be Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti and Italian-style salad and vegetables. If you select a vegetarian or gluten-free option, lunch will be a gluten-free vegetarian lasagna. The special guest speaker will be none other than our own CISD Superintendent, Dr. Lane Ledbetter. We will be "traveling to Italy" this month so remember your SWC passports.

We are SO excited....It’s BACK! On February 14th, SWC Community Outreach will host 120 local seniors at the Marq for an afternoon of food and FUN at our Annual Senior Valentines Luncheon. This is an amazing event and all of our senior citizens enjoy it so much! But we can’t do it without you! There are several ways you can help! (1) Sign up!! The sign up is for not only volunteers for the event, but it also includes opportunities to volunteer to bring paper goods. (2) Bring a bingo prize to our January and February SWC Luncheons. Please bring items such as soaps, lotions, wallets, candy, stamps, fuzzy socks, small gift cards, etc. - for both male & female seniors (NO CANDLES please). Mark your calendars for the Stokes of Art in Square reception on Sunday, February 20th. The Strokes of Art in the Square 2022 will be held at Southlake Town Hall on Sunday, February 20 from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Southlake Women’s Club Foundation will present the 2022 Beneficiaries of Art in the Square. As in past years, guests will be the first to view creative visuals of the 2022 Art in the Square featured artists. The People’s Choice Winner is selected by public vote from the featured artists. She started DFW Decluttered LLC in 2019 as a way to bring her education, prior career in consumer products, and her passion for decluttering and organizing together to help people. Her greatest hope is to help others let go of the things that are holding them back. As a mom of 3 and the daughter of a hoarder, she gets how hard the process can be! If you have never been to Amsterdam, here is your chance. Amsterdam is known for its beautiful tulips and other flowers, so we will be making our own spring floral arrangements! Donna and the designers from Out of the Garden will provide all the flowers and other materials along with expert guidance to ensure that everyone leaves with something truly special. Be sure to wear your SWC apron and bring clippers if you have them. We will be making our arrangements first and then will enjoy a delicious lunch of either chicken or vegetable satays.
